The bar is open

This has been a busy weekm for me, and I haven't been arond here as much as I like.

My brother came to town, so I got to spend some quality time with him. Had a great time went to the Dolphins- Jets game and we had a great time. I hadn't seen him in a year and half, so it was fun.

He came down because I turned 60 last week. Jeez, I can't believe it. It's so strange. Oh well, time marches on.

My wife got me a bottle of Highland Park 18 year old scotch, so I'm drinking it tonight. Great stuff.

Oh yeah...the celebration continues.....what a great night last Tuesday!

Happy belated birthday Jeff and congratulations on your 60th.

I'm sipping on some Elijah Craig and speaking of Tuesday, I had to google who won the election on Wed and Thur morning because I was afraid I was dreaming, cheers my friends.

Found this on the shelf. It's bottled in Bardstown, were I spent a few days a while back while visiting my friends, the Tuckers. How could I NOT buy this?

It tastes of wood an anise, and is rather bold. In a three way taste test this evening, it falls in between Nikka Taketsuru and Knob Creek.
