Are you committed to carrying?

I am pretty committed to carrying a firearm. If I'm not home, I have a gun with me, except for when I go to courthouses (which really ticks me off, because it is nonsensical) or jails (which I can understand).

Workdays, I have a Smith 638 Bodyguard, because it easily fits in my pocket. Other than that I always carry my P99.

I once read an article that talked about carrying, and how people love to tell you what they always carry- and if they say that, you should ask them if they have it with them right now.

90% of the time when I'm home, I'm carrying. 98% of the time when I'm away from home, I'm carrying.

The only time when I do not carry is when it's illegal or I'm involved in an activity where I may have to remove the gun and leave it unattended. I do not like my guns (any gun) being unattended.

Actually, if I am going out and know I am going to be drinking, I won't carry. Guns and alcohol don't mix, in my opinion, and I never handle a firearm if I have any alcohol at all.

I just poured a drink a couple of minutes ago and since you mentioned it I'm sitting on my P238, it's in a back pocket holster. It's always in my pocket, if my pants are on I don't necessarily have my wallet but I'm armed, I have a flashlight and knife.

I need an extra mag + small flash light combo carrier for evening carry.

Never got the "flashlite" thing..
How many people actually practice holding them with your firearm at the range?
It's seems if your going to carry one ya should at least try it first...

I agree, Jeff. Flashlights can be very dangerous. Some training and skills repetition is a good idea.

(I'm just messing with you, bro)
