Theis holster make the Jake Belt, it's about $68. They look pretty nice. I buy Carhartt belts myself, they work well for $25. I'm sure there are plenty of quality gun belts from holster companies.

I just did a Google search and found Wright Leathers, 5:11, Crossbreed, Comp-tac, Alien Gear and Galco Leather to name a few.I'm sure others will have personal experience with some of these or others.

I recommend Mike at A Better Belt USA

He lives back in the neighborhood I grew up in and have met him. His wife, Tracy is covering from a lung transplant (!) earlier this year. He got his start working for Tucker Gunleather. Certainly a good guy who makes a great product. I'm wearing one of his belts as I type this.

I have been searching the net and have come to the conclusion a quality belt with the right leather thickness or (weight) if you will. Will cost between $50.00 to $70.00 I am still not sure which one I want. For me I think I want stitching on the belt to give it a casual wear option just not a gun belt also I have a lot of different buckles I hope to be able alternate occasionally. I hope I hear some suggestions so I can narrow it down some. There are color options to consider also! Thanks starnovi for posting maybe both of us will have success!

Ah, ok I got it now. I was wondering why a description on a belt said that the buckle was removable. Makes sense if you have cool belt buckles. I'm not a belt person.

My favorite source for gun belts is "Bullhide Belts", I have a number of them. Go to their site and click on "bullhide belts" then scroll down to "clearance items", you may find what you're looking for at a discounted price. Where ever you decide to buy from make sure you read their measuring instructions everybody seems to measure differently.

Any of the ones with the steel band inside. Forget which one I have but its pretty comfortable. Think it was AG.... but there are others.

Besides what Chuck said about sizing, also consider if the gun is carried IWB or OWB. Usually they will tell you go two sizes bigger for IWB but always ask the manufacturer.
