I think they're $59K and probably a huge dealer mark up. I was looking at a Buick Grand National GNX that a dealer had back in '87, the dealer mark up was $20K.

Give me that 59K and I'll build you a new T-Bucket that will beat the snot out of that thing, have more curb appeal and put the left over 25+K in my pocket.

Wink Oh Hell Yeah!!

That is some kind of a bad piece of machinery!! And a 10 second quarter mile in a street legal car is totally crazy!!! The Dick Harrell owned, super stock (now known as pro-stock- full out race) car I drove at the 1969 World Points Finals in Kansas City would do high 9 second quarter miles!!

Another teen age memory was one of my class mates, for a graduation present, was given a 1970 Plymouth Hemi-'Cuda convertible. It was black, with a black top and black interior. There were only 5 of them ever built. I was allowed to drive it in 1980, at our 10 year class reunion. I still tingle all over just thinking about that!! WHAT A RIDE!!!! I saw one sold on the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction last year for $500,000!!!
