Is awesome IMO. When I was changing the CT grips around for xrooster and Hoffbrew I found some missing and torn dust shields, very thin plastic. I also wanted some of the little cleaning swabs. Could not find any to purchase on the CT website or any place else online. I sent them a email telling them what I needed and where could I buy them. Within a hour or so I received this email from them. To me that's good CS.
Dear Arland Sharp,
Thank you for your inquiry. I have processed a request and will have both an accessory pack, and the dust shields sent out to you shortly.
If we can be of further assistance, please call our customer service team at (800) 442-2406 between 7am and 5pm, Pacific Time Zone, Monday through Friday.
That is great CS! For a minute there I thought you were going to ask me for the replacements, I was thinking no frick'n way, but then I thought, chit, he knows where I live but then Fred fixed that, so ... but seriously, that is great CT did that for you.
Yeah, it is probably inexpensive items, they are included in the box with each new purchase. I bought one of the grips used off of Amazon (got a great price) grip looked new but it didn't have any paperwork or anything else with it.
Would have had no problem paying for it but hey FREE is way cool.
I got several sets from these people, full size and compact. $2.50 per set. About half way down the page. Called Frame Savers. Alumagrips - Accessories
Crimson Trace envelope was in mail yesterday. Not only did they send what I needed, battery shields and cleaning swabs but it also had a package of batteries. I don't think any of my grips are needing battery replacement but I have a set in house if needed, no waiting. Sweet.
Well, I'm glad that you received good customer service. I've had my Micro 9 with the CT laser grips since 9/15 and the batteries died weeks ago. Maybe they were old to begin with, I don't know but they certainly didn't last very long. Anyway, I'm registered for the free replacement batteries. I've mailed them 3 times about the replacements, not even an acknowledgment back from anyone. Today I called and after a long wait finally did speak with someone who said they would send them to me and I should have them next week. I didn't feel all that confident about that actually happening so I will be very surprised if I receive the batteries next week. They just sounded like they were too busy, so I think I have a 50/50 chance.
Oh man, bummer. Now it did take several days to get mine but that's because CT sent it snail mail, post office. I was in no hurry so it really didn't matter in my case.
I had the same experience with CT when I had their grips..Emailed and called them for batteries and nadda response at all..Ended up buying some before I sold the CT grips...
Wondering if anyone with CT laser grips can help me out here. I went ahead and just bought the damn batteries instead of waiting for them to be shipped to me. Got them installed and the laser is still not working. I have contacted them today (Sunday) via email, but will call tomorrow. I'm wondering if anyone can give me some troubleshooting help if they can think of anything else I can do to check out these laser grips. Pretty sure the warranty is 3 years, and I bought the Micro 9 in Sept. 2016. Thanks, Florence
ps, also noticed when looking at the CT site on installing new laser grips, they come with a dust cover for the 1911 but there wasn't any on my pistol. Do you guys have a dust cover on yours?
Well that sucks...I haven't a clue what to tell you Flo, but those batteries don't last very long anyway..I went through 3 sets and never even took them shooting...
I did have many drunk filled nights watching my cat chase the laser and that poor little guy just couldn't learn to stop head butting the bedroom door as he chased it down the hallway... Crash/Bang/Cat scream....
Wipe your fingers and batteries down with alcohol. Then take a little on a Q-Tip and gently do the contacts. Make sure they are in the right way and see if that works.

Going to give it a try, thank you. When I removed the grips I noticed that a small amount of the lubricant seeped into them, that's why I was wondering about the dust cover, aside from dirt and dust.
Laser grips still not working after new batteries and wiping down the contacts. Talked to Crimson Trace just now and they are going to repair my laser grips, however, I have to package them up and ship them back to them at my expense. Not a big deal, but they are not as efficient as Kimber is with RMA. They did answer right away though, so no wait time on the phone. 7-10 days on the repair time, and then however long it takes for them to ship them. So now my Micro 9 is out of commission....bah! Might look for grips in the meantime.
Glad you got to talk to them and they are going to repair, worse case you might get a new set of grips? Shipping should not be expensive or as much trouble as shipping a pistol. If they use U.S. Postal service delivery will be slow, that's how they sent my package.
