Cool New Trigger for AR!!

Just changed out the trigger on my DPMS Panther Arms Oracle.

The original mil spec trigger didn't meet the demands of my ultra snooty trigger finger. So I swapped it out for an ALG Action Combat Trigger. That was a major improvement, but still didn't quite get the job done. It had too much take up, was still a touch gritty and was still not as clean and crisp as I like. Soooooooooooo.................... I just swapped that out for a CMC (Chip McCormick Custom) 3 lb trigger. It has no slop, no grit, no take up, no over travel and breaks clean at the advertised 3 lbs. Now that is what I call a trigger!! Buda Bing! Buda Bang! Buda Boom!! As one of Alan Jackson songs goes, "It ain't no problem, it just takes money!!!"

Job took all of 2 minutes, if you count watching the YouTube video also!!! Very quick project. Even an ex-Lineman can do it!! BTW, it works, too!!!!

Could have just went with a Geissele trigger and got it done right the first time.

Nice trigger.

I use a Wilson Combat TTU 4lb single stage.

Ammo is too expensive to shoot with anything less than the trigger that best fits your shooting needs.

I put the Wilson Combat drop in trigger in mine....smooth clean break at 4lbs. It was a big improvement over the Smith&Wesson trigger.

The ALG IS a Geissele trigger!! It's just Mrs. Geissele!! ALG is for Amy Lynn Geissele!! Same as SSA-E, but not quite as refined and half the price!!

The 3 lb Chip McCormick is working fine!! However, you are right; I should have gone with a premium trigger first. Can't blame a guy for trying to save a buck here or there, can ya? Hind sight is better than..............!!
