Kabanosy Slim Jims

It is easier to make long long ropes of these snacks. The longest here is about 10 feet. In the dehydrator for 5 hours, and now they will hang for about 5 days, then ready for snacking. Loving it all. Cost is about $2 a pound vs. the local grocery store $6.49. Mine are much much more tasty.

That was 10lbs of Kabanosy. 13 pounds was ground, so 3lbs pork was left over. Today I'll grind a 2lb beef chuck roast and follow the recipe for a Kielbasa that is also a semi-cooked and semi-dried sausage.
