Taking A Time Out!

I just want to give you guys a heads up, Iím going to be MIA for a couple of days. Iím going into the hospital tomorrow morning for cervical disc replacement surgery. Itís a pain in the ass, (actually my arms and neck) and if it wasnít effecting the way I shoot Iíd probably continue putting it off. Actually my neurosurgeon says enough is enough, get your neck into the hospital and turn me loose with a sharp knife. The way I understand it, heís going to make an incision in the front of my neck (throat) then push everything in his way off to the side. Remove 3 discís and replace them with (in Kimber talk) MIM parts. The new discís will restore the separation between my vertebrae and take the pressure off the nerves running between them. The numbness in my left arm and hand, the shooting pains in my right arm and the constant neck pain should be relieved instantly. I asked about getting extended replacement discís to make me 6í and get rid of my turkey neck but he didnít think that was very funny, heís one serious SOB. I think he cut me off from my nightly bourbon on Sunday just to show me he was the boss. I donít expect to be gone very long so watch the antics, Marshall that goes double for you. I have 2 people watching you who know how to contact me so watch yourself.

Remember Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference, Chuck Out!

Prayers sent your way Chuck. I guess after putting up with me for the last four years you weren't lying when you told me multiple times that "I was a pain in your neck".....

Godspeed my friend...

Feel for ya. Crushed a disc falling down the stairs many years ago. Listen to the Docs, take it sloooow and easy, give yourself plenty of healing time. Hope you get cute nurses with warm smiles and warmer hands!

Wow! Prayers for your quick recovery Chuck. This place won't be the same until we know you are ok and riding herd on us again.

In the meantime....woo hoo....anything goes!! Naked pictures, cussing, spitting on the floor.

Get well soon, my friend.
