One of my memories that morning was watching the first responders rush into the twin towers to save complete strangers. As people were running out of the smoke and others jumping out of the windows, 343 of the fireman marched in never to return home to their families.

NEVER FORGET!!!
I tried watching a documentary on 9/11 last night. Felt my blood pressure skyrocket and had to turn it off. Honestly, I hope I never lose that feeling.

It was a day that changed so many of our lives. It made us aware that our country was vulnerable to attack from others. I went to a graduation a few weeks ago at Fort Benning, GA. I had to take things out of my pocket so that I could be wand, just an example how that day in 2001 changed the things we do. May we never forget that day!

With all the news recently focused on Harvey, then on Irma, I was happy to see that this day was still marked with reverence, remembrance, & respect for all those that perished on that life changing day. Prayers for all that were lost, for their families, & our country.

Not likely to forget.

My best friend's son is retired from the NYFD; yeah, he was there that day, that's why he's retired.
