My man, I'm joining you to night with a little Elijah Craig. First one in over 2 months so it's light and I'm limiting myself to one. Cheers my friends.
Hey Chuck, the Rev. Mr. Craig will be the nightcap. We leave Wrightsville Beach for Durham tomorrow morning; it's been a fun week. High surf and a nor'easter on Monday, but no Irma.
Happy to hear that you and Elijah are friends again.
Elijah Craig 12 year is one of my favorite bourbons! I love how well balanced this bourbon is whether it is in a rocks glass or in a glencairn. If I'm choosing the old fashion glass, I toss in two ice cubes and a wee splash of H2O, and the full effect of the bourbon is still present, which I love. The glencairn almost lightens the bourbon. That glass makes it all about the small sips which I enjoy at times.
