Just curious, according to the map, Baumer live in the Pacific Ocean - boat or incorrect co-ordinates?

Yeah, but Houston is beginning to encroach on the eastern parts. I'm down near Pleak, between Rosenberg & Needville, which is still decent. They still hunt dove in the cotton field across the road from my back fence.

I always said if I could make a living in Port O'Connor or Port Mansfield, the world would never hear from me again!

Whereabouts in Northeast Texas? I have a fair few friends that grew up in places like Sulphur Springs, Commerce, Bonham & Quitman.

I'm from Southern Oklahoma, near Red. That's as far as they let me go south.

Houston on those dreaded work days and Sabine County, Hemphill Texas (Toledo Bend Reservoir) on most weekends, when there's not an LSU home game

I'm headed up near you this morning. Flying in to Love Field.

Ah Texas...I'm not from there, but I was lucky enough to spend 6-8 weeks in Corpus Christi with my grandfather every year on our vacations when I was a young lad. We hung out at Padre Island mostly getting our white pasty Irish skin burned in the hot Texas sun.

I remember taking the tour of the Astrodome which was the "Eighth Wonder of the World" at the time and I remember it being huge compared to our old Busch Stadium here in the Lou.

One of these days I want to go back to visit and to go see my grandfather's grave.......Do they still have the HEB stores down there ? I would get a pair of leather moccasins shoes every time we would visit just like Marshall wore....{Marshall was my grandfather's name}....
