To all my fellow veterans God Bless everyone of us

Just wanted to say those of us who served are a brotherhood regardless of the branch of military
Let us not forget those who are proudly serving now as we all did
Good Bless all

Jack4951,

Thank you from another veteran. You know, I didn't really consider myself a veteran until a few years ago. I was just another guy who was drafted and went to Vietnam. I returned, got out, got a job and continued on with my life. A Big Salute to all those on this forum who served.

I understand what you said Markie. It has been hard for me to consider myself a veteran also. Vietnam was a long time ago but in a lot of ways seems like yesterday. God bless all that severed. Have a great Veterans Day.

Almost what he said! I reported for shipment to SE Asia (Nam) on 7 Jan 1972 and while standing in line to board the bus from Ft Dix to McGuire AFB this guy was working up the line looking at everyone's orders. He told me to get in another line. When I got to the heard of that line a clerk asked me where I wanted to go in Europe? On 9 Jan I was in Germany headed South.

Did two and a half years with Pershing Missiles. Tough to take.
