I think the Ultra is the smallest fully functioning 1911 we are going to see.

There are people that complain that the 9mm is too "snappy" in the Micro line, imagine what they'd say about a .45.

I have a Rohrbaugh r9s, it's supposed to be the smallest 9mm made. After one magazine you feel it. Before the company sold out to Remington they were tooling around with making one it was rumored.

I have shot the Shield in 45 and it kicked a bunch. Like Chuck said, the UCII is perfect for that caliber.

I'm thinking that's a dream 427? I don't know that a .45 could be made to function properly in such a tiny frame? Even if it could be viable it'd be a handful and only appeal to a small segment of the market. That being said, who knows? A Micro .45 would be about the smallest .45 out there...

Detonics Combat Master did it many moons ago. I don't own a real Micro9 to compare but I think it would be real close. It is stout with full house .45acp and you need a valid "Man card" to fire .45 +P.
This was my CC for many years.
Pics are before and after Cerakote.

Speaking of...

Have you guys seen Heizer Defense 45ACP? Ugly but looks like it works real well.
Company website ---https://heizerdefense.com/category/p...s/guns/pak1-2/

They also make a pocket size single shot .223 and 7.62X39. Not so good.
