I saw that on the news the other day, they were at a range demonstrating it.

Pretty soon we'll be just like downtown Beirut!

I'm like wayne, I don't know what to say or think about that gear. Tactical $399.00, only stops up to .44mag?

With the weapons being used in today's mass shootings/active shootings, you already don't have enough protection. Unless some thug with his dirty Glock 9mm is robbing the 7/11 your in deep chit.

I don't see me carrying one even if they didn't cost 400 bucks.

Although might make a good SHTF Bugout bag.

As a guy who has a daughter in college this just makes me sad that our world has come to this. Not too long ago all our parents needed to worry about was grades, underage drinking and the cost of tuition.

Personally, I like the idea that it looks like a back-pack. If a perp sees you wearing body armor he'll just aim for your head.

I can see limited value in a mass shooting when the brain-donor is using a rifle, but for muggings, knife attacks and blunt force trauma (the stuff street idiots throw at you) it's not a bad idea.

The mugger hits you with a stick, nothing happens, then his unwashed face lights up with a Crimson Trace. Buys you time.

I'm sure similar sentiments were muttered in the past. Kent State University and Jackson State College almost 50 years ago come to mind.
