I noticed how big and beautiful it was this morning at 4:30 when I went out to start my truck. It was huge and I believe that our local weather guy called it a wolf moon.

It's called a supermoon and it happens when the full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit. Supermoons make the moon appear a little brighter and closer than normal. The next supermoon will be on Jan. 31 and will also will also coincide with a lunar eclipse best visible in the western United States.

Couldn't see it in my neck of the woods! Cloudy conditions prevented this and I was really hoping to see it. Hope the weather clears and I'll get to see it on Jan 31st along with the lunar eclipse.
