Hide and Seek or....

Do you Hide your guns around the house and Seek them if needed or do you carry at home?

My carry sits with me at the couch then to my nightstand and have a 870 stashed at back of house, only family knows where it is at. Son has mace at bedside as well.

My home has three floors, I keep a loaded gun on each floor. A .38 J-frame in the drawer of my basement workbench. A Sig 320 with night sights and a weapons light, at my bedside. And my EDC, .38 J-frame that sits in a drawer half way between my front and back doors, when not on me.

I also keep a 1911 in a go bag with seven loaded mags, and two boxes of ammo. It's not loaded but it's ready grab on the run if needed.

10 step rule applies in my dwelling. Within 10 steps anywhere in the house, you will find a weapon ready to go. My EDC is in my possession at all times with 2 mags fully loaded with Hornady critical defense. Not paranoid, just ready and prepared.

My safe is on the 2nd floor in my bedroom so there’s always a gun available and there is always 1 or 2 guns on the first floor. I have a drawer under my sectional couch that you wouldn’t know is there if you didn’t know, there’s always a loaded gun in there and that room is where I spend most of my time when home.
