Another beloved pet is gone.

We just lost our son's sweet, funny English bulldog last night to cancer. She just turned 7 in February and had been diagnosed with Lymphoma in her chest and lungs. She was doing well with the chemo treatments but last week they found a new mass and then she came down with pneumonia and just couldn't fight it anymore. She passed at the pet hospital right before my son and daughter in law arrived. We are all heartbroken but they are completely distraugt. I hope my photos are right side up, one is Beans with my son, then puppy Beans, and the last photo my son took of her this week. I am so sad; I hate this.

Very sad news Star. It is bad enough we have to endure cancer in people we love but it also sucks that our pets get cancer to.

Thanks Arland. It does suck and it's so hard to go through but we all have to do it. We lost our daughter's 4 year old Maine Coon to cancer just a year ago and now this. Our oldest dog is 13 now but thankfully she seems to be in good health. I think she's the last for me, I don't want to do this anymore.

So sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost a big beautiful cat to cancer. He was only three and was my lap cat and I belonged to him. Years later I still miss him and his company.

Hopefully others here will start to understand how painful it is to lose a pet, a friend, a small member of the family. Especially when that loss comes at the hand of a cruel, thoughtless person.

Sorry to hear, Star. I said a small agape' prayer as I understand the loss.

I lost my little girl on Thanksgiving morning. Yeah, her picture is in my phone.
