One of those easy jobs that goes down hill fast..

started out as a simple leak...
pulled the carb and fitting..

found it was leaking from the plastic filter cover.pull the cover it is warped..
cut the hose off thinking it was 5/16..got plenty..noooooo
metric..wtf....go to store no metric...

so now new fittings...
so I may as well make an aluminum cap...no problem fits like a glove. will never warp...pressure test all good....except now the upper part of the shift lever hits the cap..

ok no big deal I don't need the upper part since it is for remote shift..whip out my dremel.. thin cutting blades are so handy....cut 1/2 way snapped off the rest....wooo hoo ..

no more sucking air and stalling...
