A Question For All You Cooks

I was just informed by my neighbor that I won an "Instant Pot Ultra" in her church raffle. I told her to keep it but she said she already has one, she will be bringing it over later today. I'm embarrassed to say that I've never seen one and I don't know anything about it. Does anyone here have and use one, is this something I'm going to use? What exactly can you do in it that I can't do on my stove, crock pot, grill or smoker? Any help would be appreciated.

since I use both pressure cooker and slow cooker the idea of a combo is intriguing so I'm reading up on it. (yup I do all the cooking in my home)

It’s a countertop pressure cooker/crock pot type combo. You can cook meal such faster than the hours it takes in a crock pot.

Yep I'd call it a pressurized crock pot, I don't see me needing one but who knows. I think it was all the rage this past Christmas.
Still doing my cooking old school!!

Its worth trying it out. I have one, only used it a few times, but its pretty handy. My wife likes the chicken piccata from it.

Thanks to everyone that responded, my neighbor dropped it off and gave me a quick rundown on what it will do. She's going to come over during the week and help me get started with it. From what she's told me so far it could have a lot of potential. She said you could take a whole frozen chicken out of the freezer, drop it in the pot and be eating it in nothing flat........ this I have to see.

This is a picture of it (not mine), I found out it costs about $150.00, not bad for a $5.00 ticket.
