Last Gun

If you knew your next gun purchase would be your last; for whatever reason. What would you get?

I'm still trying to figure out which of the 3 categories it would fall into.
1. Collectors item.
2. Range toy.
3. Defense.
I've pretty much got 2 & 3 covered. It would be nice to come up with something that would fit in all three categories. Still looking for ideas.

An actual 1700 -1800's Kentucky Long Rifle in pristine condition. A few years ago there was one on GB for like 8 grand and I almost pulled the trigger a couple times but didn't. It was a gun that was one of a few referenced in a book on Long Rifles and a copy came with it to the buyer. I had the money but I just couldn't make myself do it. I'd just love to hold it and think where it's been.

I guess I'd have to finally break down and build that AR15 that my state makes ridiculously expensive.

Maybe a high-end 1911 to replace my Colt and Kimber 1911s.
