Listen to the police

This guy, who had a loaded magazine in his back pocket (evidently) should have just listened to the police: https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video...g3_pmAtBgk.mp4

Yikes, the perp should be glad he's still alive!

Do you know the outcome of the event?

I'm not sure it matters. When the perp pulled the gun (whether it real or just a squirt gun) most police officers are allowed to initiate the first shot to defend themselves. I would not question this procedure, since it might effect me some day.

I do know there is a concept called "sympathetic fire." It has been proven that if one officer fires, the rest of the police on site also fire.

The cop in the middle looked to me he was quite trigger happy. I'm surprised he didn't run out of ammo.

Do you think he knew how many rounds he fired?

In most civilian shootings, the responding police often ask how many rounds he fired. It is suggested that the civilian ask for 24 hours to contact his counselor.

Most civilians will say he fired two or three shots, but the 12 shot magazine might be empty with brass all over the ground. I'd even guess that a trained shooter will take his eyes off the front sight and just look at the perp. If the the aggressor doesn't hit the ground, the civilian might just keep pumping rounds.

It looked to me like the cop on the right started firing first. The cop with the taser brought his gun back out later. It also looked like the suspect had a gun out in his right hand. If it was the cell phone he had originally, it sure looked like a gun to me. The fact that he kept not following the cops orders and kept dropping his hand was stupid and if he didn't have a gun, he caused himself to be shot. When the cop keeps telling you he isn't going to tell you again and then holsters his gun to bring out a taser (non lethal) indicates that the cop really didn't want to use deadly force. The suspect caused him self to be shot. Some folks viewing this will say he had hands up and said don't shoot!!

Cop, robber, tweaker, democrat... if they have a gun on you, you'd better be compliant until you can figure out a solution to the problem.
