Stan and Ollie

I think there may be a few of you out there old enough to appreciate Laurel and Hardy. Took the wife to see the Stan and Ollie movie yesterday and really liked it; highly suggest it if you guys want something to do. If you are a Laurel and Hardy fan it's a must see.

At a little theater in Helena called the Myrna Loy. It's a really cool old brownstone building that was built back in the 1800s and used originally as a jail. But anyway it's not a major headliner and it's been out for a few months.
It's not a major blockbuster but I thought it was pretty good. It's mainly about their European tour after their peak and after their time with HAL Roche. Trying to make a comeback by touring England Scotland and Ireland areas that Stan was pretty familiar with.
It makes me want to go get their 10 DVD collector set of all their best movies. Something I've been wanting to for a long time but I'm going to order it today.
Even my wife, who is not really a Laurel and Hardy fan, really enjoyed it.

I was just trying to do something to help you.
BTW- The DVD is available at Walmart, I don't know if it's in the store but you can order it for less than 20 bucks

If you are referring to Dave, that is an expression Ollie use to say to Stan.

The actual quote is: "this is another fine mess you've got me into".
Even though I don't recall hearing his version of that quote I did understand and responded with a turn around quote from Stan. Ollie always says, "why don't you do something to help me".

Laurel and Hardy trivia question

When Ollie was in the hospital with a broken leg what snack did Stan bring him when he came to visit?

HARD BOILED EGGS AND NUTS
