Thanks! Hope y'all had a great weekend, too!

I WAS having a good and productive weekend, right up until I (unintentionally and by reflexive action) tried to CATCH the tip of the soldering iron when the tip fell out of the handle. Biiiiiiig mistake! Owee! (But amazingly, no swear words were released. Huh.) (Picked the tip up out of the little melted cradle it made in the carpet with pliers!!

Spent the next five hours with my poor fingers on an ice pack.... after which, thankfully, the big-old blister on my index finger stopped burning like Hades whenever I took it OFF the ice.... And of course, whose law is it? Murphy's Law? It HAD to be my left hand (I'm a leftie) AND right at the spot on my index finger and middle finger where I would hold a pen, or a computer mouse, or a kitchen knife, or, you know, pretty much ANYthing I might wish to manipulate.

Oh well. Small punishment for a stupid mistake... (Going back to soldering today -- and ABSOLUTELY will check that the tip is very securely screwed into the handle BEFORE plugging the stupid thing in!!)
