Epic Range Day ...Part 1

My best shootin' bud and I hit the gun club for our first trip of '19. We took along a total of nine handguns and one bad azz PCC. We made it to Biscuit World around 9:45 and were on the range by 10:20.

The back of my 4Runner was filled with target stands, portable steel, guns and ammo. Plus a cooler, camera, and a major first aid/trauma kit. We were ready for the day.

We easily hit the thousand round mark between the two of us. We stayed at Range #3, a "do what you want" combat range, until 2:30 then went to the Steel Range until around 5:00. This is a big place and we saw only six other people all day.

Sorry no cool target pics with tight groups our targets were pretty much shot to hell and taped over a few times. But I'll post some pics of the club for you guys to see. Welcome to The Putman County Gun Club...

Ranges 1,2 & 3 and the registration hut. That's John sighting in on our set up, you'll see our targets and the white dots out there are plates. And a shot of the Sig 320 family and the TAVOR.

Looks like a FUN place to shoot.
I'd like the solitude.
Is it close to home?

It's a great place to shoot just about anything you want. It's about a 25 minute drive from my place. The range is just a couple of minutes from a small town with restaurants, fast food, gas stations and a large grocery store. Anything you need is right there.

You can shoot at falling plates at 12yds or out to a 300yd rifle range. And anything inbetween.

What a sweet sweet setup.
As a left handed rifle shooter do you think the Tavor would work for me? Gases or brass too close to my eyes? I have run hundreds of rounds of 5.56 through AR’s without any real problems.
Thanks.

You're a lucky man to have a range like that close to you.
