Recently I received a gift from my SIL, and I must admit, I didn't think much of it at the time. I was wrong.
When we leave the house, few of us have all the tools we need. For example, I have screwdrivers, a hammer and the usual emergency tools in the console of my F-150, but I do not have a drill, for example.
I might carry two switchblades, but not a wire snipper, etc.
But when things that are small get broken or simply lost, most of us have nothing--perhaps a tweezers in your wife's purse.
This is a small, foldable pliers. It looks like a stainless steel lady-bug when I first take it out of the case. It gives you the leverage you need to remove (say) broken firing pins, extractors and ejectors that might have tied up an entire previously functioning 1911.
