Evening Dave, I've got a bottle of Beer Barrel Bourbon. It's from a small distillery in Holland Mich. and it's becoming a favorite. Every so often when my son comes to visit and he has his head on straight he'll remember to bring me a bottle or two, cheers!

Does this mean the bar is open?

Tuesday was a fabulous day, a day I wait all year for: the day I run out of vodka.

Normally that would mean I had made a grievous tactical error in rationing my resources, but this time it happened after the "Spring Forward" time change, and that means that it is officially Rum season. And. And! I saw this eventuality coming, even through the haze of my Seasonal Affective Disorder, I had planned ahead by pre-stocking my inventory. I already had a bottle of one of my long time favorites in the cabinet, ready to go.
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. Straight up room temp in medium size snifter. It's glorious. And it's Friday, so there's that too.

Just put down a lemon flavored water from Costco's Kirkland.

I needed a celebration, because my copper Boker came!

Say, 2sharp2, I also learned that Nick (of Nicnac and Joyce fame) has a about a million pieces of inventory, but no copper Bokers.

Could it be I snagged the last one of those, too?

Does anyone drink Courvoisier Cognac--at least 'any more'?

My dad used to drink it, more to the point, he sipped it, just enough to wet his tongue, and his whole being loosened up.

Being a biker, the only thing I bought that cost more than Courvoisier was the bikes, themselves...
