Boone Trading Co

Thinking that a set of ivory grips might look good on my Colt Defender (for BBQ Season) but not wanting to pay $400 plus for them I ordered a set of synthetic mammoth ivory grips. If I really like the looks of them I will order the real thing.
By the way they have two full-size mammoth tusks for sale for a mere $29,000.
I'll post my Go Fund Me page at a later time.

They've got some beautiful grips and prices to match. When I bought 2 sets of elephant ivory grips from Sarge's Grips for $200.00 a pair I thought it was extravagant.

I just thought it be cool to have some real Mammoth ones that were at least 3600 to 10,000 years old.

Too late. These are the sim ivory grips I bought. But instead of the gold medallions I ordered the silver medallions. 35 bucks plus shipping.
If I really like the looks of them I will buy the real mammoth ivory grips.
These will only be my BBQ or Sunday go to meeting grips.

They are some nice grips. I think you’re doing the right thing by getting a cheaper grip for a test run. They will probably look great on your Defender but you never know.
