I'm practicing good behavior as of late so you guys will have to have one for me when you get a chance :-)
We did see a documentary earlier about the "Fathers" and their drinking habits. It was hosted by the "Dirtiest Jobs" guy. Turns out they were all known to pop a cork regularly. They also delved into the fact that several those unrepresented taxes that fueled the Revolutionary War involved the molasses and sugar used in distilling spirits. They only dumped tea into Boston harbor because they didn't want to waste good rum :-)

Basil Hayden. Need it.

Had a big mountain bike ride today and should have
gone home to rest. But then the earthquake hit.

Drove home, took a shower, got dressed, and headed out to make
the world safe for women, children, the elderly, and the infirm.

More in store for tomorrow. Yay.

Post surgery pain killers and antibiotics . no 4th of July drinks for me.... no Wild Turkey for at least ten days

Visiting the little siss and broinlaw for the weekend. Drank so much Espolon tequila blanco last night. Stayed up waaay past my bedtime. Now... coffee.
