Antique show

Ugh. I hate those things, but my wife enjoys them. So today I suggested we drive to West palm Beach and go to the show. She had a great time, so I was glad I went, but jeez, I pretty much hate them, and what's even worse is seeing stuff you had as a kid being sold as an antique.

We put in a couple of hours there, and then we had to go to the Vera Bradley outlet, as long as we were down there.

Finally, we went out to lunch and got home. I guess it's a small price to pay once in a while...

It's called paying your dues.

I feel your pain. Although I don't vocalize my displeasure to my wife about dumb things she wants to do, I'm thinking "this sucks" the entire time.

But hey, I get to do pretty much whatever I want so as you say, small price to pay.

It helps if beer is served at these dumb things she likes to do

I don't usually mind antique shows. That'srobably because my other passion is period furniture making/repair. I usually find something of interest as a possible project, or inspiration for a project. As Been said, small price, and she and I share a number if common interests, shooting, dogs, horses, etc
