Chernobyl

A great miniseries I just finished watching. It's on HBO on demand it's a five part series and goes into great detail about the explosion and near meltdown of the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl Russia. Not only is it a good documentary on the actual disaster but it gives you really good insight into the lifestyle of folks in a socialist, totalitarian country.
And this is where all the Democratic presidential candidates want to take us.
If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it.

I've heard good things. Shapiro maybe? Steven Crowder? I don't remember, but somebody said it was good. Regardless, that makes this the second time I've heard of someone watching it. My interest is getting piqued.

I have seen several shows on Chernobyl, but not this one. Another good one to watch is the SL-1 accident in 1958 (Arco - U.S. Army plant). I have seen it on TV, but it is very rare to view. I saw it when I was in the basic Nuclear School, prior to operating the plant in NYS. Another is the USS Forrestal CV-59 fire in 1967, as you watch John McCain jumping from the A-4 that was struck by the errant missile. Watch the port quarter for the chief rolling the 500 pound bomb off the flight deck, just as it detonated. I visited Split, (Croatia) Yugoslavia in 1976, and I had my eyes opened while walking around the city. None of the locals spoke English, so when my buddy (broken French) and my broken German were talking to the locals in a bar, we learned even more. I am not happy to see the support, that we are giving Red China, Vietnam, Cuba, North Korea, and yes, even Russia. Look at Venezuela, and some other SA countries. Sri Lanka.

Last Sunday, 60 Minutes, again, ran the segment from Red China, where they bombarded the apartments with microwaves of the Dept of Commerce employees, just as the Cubans did to the US Embassy in Havana. Brain injury to all, including the children. Some of the injured are not covered by their insurance, similarly, to the VA coverage of veterans.

NO! They're militantly enough opposed to nuclear power already
