This explains the situation a little bit better. I still think coming out on the lawn and especially pointing the guns directly at the "protestors" was not too smart. The woman with the pistol made me more nervous than the guy with the AR. I'm no professional but both their style looked like they had very little experience with guns IMO!Most like they interest of the police is greatly focused on the fact that these folks were headed to the Mayor's home as a destination! Some of the Castle Doctrine expressed in the article seem a bit confusing to me!

There's a LOT of tension out there that's for sure. This is a perfect example of a "near miss" as they say. Thankfully it didn't go south but it easily could have. The last thing 2A advocates need now are for poorly trained and armed "folk" to handle crowd control.
