Wink Permission To Engage!!

During the war in Iraq, the U.S. Air Force posted Air Force Special Security Police snipers in towers around Baghdad Airport to provide security for the air field. One afternoon, a young female Security Police sniper observed an Iraqi man digging alongside the airport perimeter road. He was obviously about to bury an IED. She called her command center, reported what she had seen and requested permission to engage the target. Permission was granted.

She looked through her scope, made adjustments for range, wind and heat distortion and then carefully pressed the trigger. The terrorist, facing away from her and bent over at over 300 yards was still furiously digging. The 7.62 NATO round struck the terrorist in his hind quarters. The very last thing out of the terrorist's mouth was......HIS ASSHOLE!!!!
