Smith & Wesson Model 60 357/38

On one of the buy in sell gun forums here in the Lou a guy put this in the for sale section late last night and I was the first one to respond and picked it up this afternoon for $300...

It's a S&W Model 60 3 inch 357/38 with very very low miles on it...

It weighs only 24 ounces and the old fellow said he only shot 38's out of it and actually gave me a full box of 357's with it that he never tried out..

I still feel a bit guilty for buying it since they go for $550 and higher.....

Who knows...Down the road it could be great trade bait...

I'd delete this post if I were you. You could do time for theft.

Captain Skyy is a thrifty shopper!

Almost as good as the Smith I snagged from my brother in law for $200 bucks.

Yes, I told him it was worth more...200 hundred was all he wanted.

If we are going to do some show and tell I am in. I picked up a LLama .380 and a original 1965 Colt Trooper .357 paid $400 for the pair. Both are 95% or better. Pictures will follow shortly. I know how you fellas are about havin bonafidies!

Stlou I like your model 60! Do not feel guilty about a thing. Think about the time you spend on the web looking for those deals. For me it is all in the art of the deal. I will never try to cheat or lie to someone in a deal, on the other hand I am not going tell anybody to charge me more than they are asking. My Dad and brother would kick me out of the professional swapmeeter union if I did that!
