Road trip

My son is here from North Carolina. We needed something fun to do today, so we took a road trip to Fin, Fur, and Feather which is about 60 miles from me. I know that there are some here that have purchased firearms from them on line since they have reasonable prices. I'd been past it before but was never able to stop. The place is huge with three levels and two wings. One wing is dedicated to fishing and camping the other to firearms and hunting. The upper level of that wing is all firearms, ammo, and other related stuff. They had just about any handgun, rifle, and shotgun you could want in stock to look at. Lots of knowledgable sales people, that were eager to let you look and handle whatever you wanted. The middle level was pretty much all clothes ranging from all things cammo to Carhart and Columbia. The lower level was pretty much all reloading equipment and supplies. We spent about three hours there and could have stayed longer.

Were their prices as good as online? Sounds like a fun store to visit!

Most were. Ammo was expensive. They had .22 but it was expensive and they limited what you could buy.

Cool trip! I can spend 3 hours in my regular small gun shop.

I love that place. It's about 50 minutes from me. I buy most of my reload stuff there.
