Question for the Chefs on here.

I was looking for a gift idea for a friend and came across this. I ended up getting both of us one. Have any of you ever used this? I picked this size to use in our Big Green Eggs.

Himalayan Round Salt Roasting Stone (12 x 2)

SaltWorks’ newest Himalayan slab size, the Himalayan Salt Roasting Stone, is a hefty 12 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick. The perfect size for placing in your oven and roasting larger pieces of poultry or fish, this slab is as impressive as it is beautiful. Lightly salt while you roast your entree, or use as a stationary serving platter that doubles as colorful décor! The perfect size for a generous spread of cheeses and fruit, this gorgeous salt slab is a conversation starter and an elegant addition to your kitchen or table.

Stones are suppose to be great for baking a pizza on. Crispy crust I guess. Let us know.

Scary, I understood his post also.

I don't know about being a Chef but I cook. Don't own a stone. I thought they were mostly for pizza?
