Cool Tools

Hey gang. Just wanted to share a couple of tools I just bought and think they are cool, and work real nice.. I really like them...
Makes life a lot easier. Nice and compact. Don't have to go into my gun tool box as often. (what the hell is robot check? - if you see that, it's just the link to the Amazon page)

First the Real Advid Pistol tool. Geared towward 1911 but good for any just about...$35 bux with free Amazon Prime Same Day shipping...

and the Real Advid AR tool. Just enough goodies if you are an AR fan in the field... $18 free Amazon Prime Same Day also...

Nice tools, if I was carrying a 1911 in the field I'd consider taking that pistol tool along.

Let me tell ya... Just as handy sitting on the workbench, (or in my case, dining room table). Saves a lot of looking for any particular tool and scavenging through my tools. lol.
I thought you did carry a 1911?

I carry a 1911 every waking moment of the day but I have an organized tool box for my guns and a workbench loaded with additional tools. As I said, if I were going afield where I wouldn't have access to my tools then I'd definitely want something like that along but not for a trip to the grocery store, I carry a BUG when I leave the house.

I own that first one shown. I keep it in my range bag. It is ok quality for $35, but nothing to brag about. I really had to work to sharpen the knife blade. It was duller than a door hinge. I am sure there are better ones out there. I think Leatherman makes a high dollar gun multi-tool for on the north side of $150. I bought it at Gander Mountain.

I didn't buy it for a knife. I have a real knife as a knife. Not like you'd use a knife on a gun anyway and it you did, you'd ruin it.
Key is the price for what it can do.
I've been using it and its good enough for something you might not need too often.
