This is way way better. I once owned a Task Force Miter Saw, that I had to leave behind when I moved. Its replacement as of today, a well taken care of Dewalt DW705, with stand and with rolling extender, Wow! The Task Force was nice, but this Dewalt has gobs of Torque way beyond the TF, and for the same price.

Wow! I just did a price search and the stand alone is over $200. And the ones I see are not as well built.

I live in a log cabin, not likely. I also need to build a big wine rack.

In the past hardwood floors, floor molding, repair deck, repair awnings. Miter Saws are a wonderful tool. For really really tight fits, the ability to make square cuts at 1/8 or at 1/16 at a time is essential use of a miter saw.

What's the "barrel" length on that Stihl on the floor under it?
