Friday night

I've been less active lately, because I've had family in town for all of March and had to spend every moment away from work with them. Now they are gone and I have my life back.

In the middle of March I ran into a bench at work and ended up with a deep thigh bruise. I thought it was nothing, but then I could barely walk and my whole leg turned black and blue. It was really crazy. It has taken about three weeks to start feeling better. Since I was walking funny, I screwed up my groin muscle on the other leg. That is taking a while to resolve too. I walk like Quasimodo.

Point of all this is, I've been taking Tylenol, and as a result, no bourbon. No bourbon for last month. Damnation! Tomorrow I am going to take it easy, so I can drink tomorrow night!

OMG, that's awful. No bourbon for a month? Sounds like you were locked away in Alcatraz. Hope you're better soon.

On a positive note, my credit card has been thanking me.

I never wanted to "brag on the blog" but I'm a Doctor and I'm prescribing a good rich Bourbon for you as a "Medicinal" treatment. You must be in a comfortable chair, feet up warm pad on the thigh and sip away!!
Jflytle, Hoffbrew, Mini Me and 1 others like this.

I'm sorry to hear you injured your leg Jeff, I pray your road to 100% recovery is a short one.

As for your credit card, I doubt it's the bourbon that strains it as much as the gun of the month club you are president of.

And let that groin muscle rest.
