I have thought about getting a .500, not because I really need or have a real use for one not even because I would shoot it a lot. I guess mostly because I can buy one and not everyone has a pistol in that large a caliber. I know it may not be as efficient but I would want one with a short barrel.

Go for the 460XVR. You can also shoot lighter calibers like .454 Casull. You can even put 45LC in it if the kids or grandkids want to shoot it.

Jerry is the man, I want to be like him when I grow up!
That video is WILD!
Yep, the 4-inch cannon is the one I would buy! Thank you, will add it to my list...what's the harm in one more.
Actually saw a .500 at the gun show last week but it had the long barrel.

Did you see the look on his face, I'll bet he was thinking if I wasn't paid the big bucks by S&W that I am to do this I'd tell them to stick this thing. LOL
