10 round Compact/Officers magazines in 9mm

Truthfully, I get confused looking for 1911 magazines. I have a Sig Ultra Compact 1911 in 9mm. Iíd like to find 10 round mags for it if there is such a think. Suggestions? Thanks.

Full size 45 magazines fit my Officers model.

It takes 6 round flush fit. Any 1911 45 magazine fits but sticks out.

Chuck turned me on to Chip McCormick ten round magazines for my Ultra. I’ve got 50 rounds through them and they are perfect.

I've often wondered about that also. Do those McCormick mags for your Ultra fit flush? So ten in the mag plus one up the spout for a total of 11 rounds in an Ultra?

I need that!

Pretty sure 9 rounders are standard on a full size and a 10 rounder will likely have a tiny boot at the bottom. Your Ultra has an Officer's size grip. A 10 round mag is not going to be flush in an Officer's model, but will fit.

The first mag Marshall posted is correct for your Ultra if you want a 10 rounder, but be aware that entire black boot at the bottom is going to be sticking out of the bottom, not flush.

Full size and Commanders are the same in the grip, and are a bit longer than your Ultra. Those are the last two he posted. They will fit and function too but will look strange.

No, my EDC is an Ultra Tactical II .45. I carry it with one in the chamber and a full 7 round magazine, no bumper pad on the mag. My 2 spare magazines are McCormick 10 rounders, for a total of 28 rounds carried.

Thanks. I donít need it to be flush. Iím taking a daylong pistol class and Iím required to have a pistol with 3 mags of at least 10 rounds. I should probably use a different pistol, but my Sig Ultra is my best shooting gun.

No, they will not fit flush in an ultra. I keep a Wilson combat 7 rounder in my Ultra and carry a spare 10 rounder on my belt for a total of 18 rounds.
