Winchester Model 94 25-35 WCF

A very good elder friend of mine from the pub brought this up today to show me and and asked me to do some homework on it to get a ballpark figure on the value of it.

He bought this Winchester Model 94 25-35 WCF back in 1972 from his brother in law and he said he had it for awhile. It does have a couple scratches on the stock, but other than that it's a really clean rifle.

I will start my research on it in the morning, but I figured there are many members who know way more info on rifles than I do because I really have no clue.

I found this chart with the year that the model 94 was made and if the serial number is what is on the pic would that really be a 1927-1928 ?

It looks to clean to be that old, but I'm not sure...

If that really is a pre-1964, it raises its value significantly.

If that 1052021 is the serial number and the chart is the correct one I would think so.

Well I'll be. I figured someone would know something about this rifle since a few of you were around when it was made..

Time to do some homework...
