Diamondback Firearms Owners

Anyone own a Diamondback Firearms rifle, pistol/rifle 5.56/223? All parts made assembled in Florida...U.S.A.
I've found a DB15P in Burnt Bronze Pistol in 5.56/223 that I'm considering adding to the home defense, boat, range game plan.
Do you own one? Good or bad facts about them. Do I "need" one? Probably not but it seems pretty cool to me and might be useful. Oh the pistol in the link is in FDE but you get the idea and of course they have evil black.

Interesting, it definitely has a fun factor and I could see where the 30 round mag would come in handy.

Yes, exactly and several intruders, no problem. I've been looking at AR pistols for awhile and this is first one I have seen that's not over 1K.

Waiting on Phil, he probably knows about them.

i've owned a Diamondback DB9 for about 8 years. Have never had any problems with it. It has gone "bang" everytime I've pulled the trigger. Its about the same size as my S&W Bodyguard 380. Good little pocket pistol that I carried a lot in the French Qtr when we had a place there. Not real pleasurable to shoot, but I can put some bullets in the general vicinity of where I am aiming with it

...I had looked at one of their little .380s but the grip was too small to get a comfortable grip.

I don't know anything about DB, but I can offer something that might be worthy of consideration when choosing an AR pistol.

The AR pistol SB Tactical "stabilizing brace" is becoming popular. The ATF has written a letter stating if the arm brace is otherwise not altered but is used from the shoulder that doesn't make it an NFA/SBR. Special attention to the below section.

“With respect to stabilizing braces, ATF has concluded that attaching the brace to a handgun as a forearm brace does not ‘make’ a short-barreled firearm because … it is not intended to be and cannot comfortably be fired from the shoulder.”
“Therefore, an NFA firearm has not necessarily been made when the device is not re-configured for use as a shoulder stock – even if the attached firearm happens to be fired from the shoulder.”

Thanks Phil. Well to me the "stabilizing brace" kind of defeats the purpose or what I view as the purpose that being compact rifle caliber pistol.
