Night Sight compare?

This is a simple FYI if anyone is interested.
I have a S&W Shield
I have a Glock 43
A while back I put Trijcon tritium night sights on the S&W
(nice sights, smooth profile, brightness in dark 1 to 5 = 3)
sightability (new word?) in daylight = 2.5)
Two day ago put Truglo tritium/fiber night sights on G43
(nice sights, lower profile, brightness in dark 1 to 5 = 3)
sightability in daylight = 4.5)

took them both into a room and closed the door for dark
effect to compare side by side at arms length. Both have
the same brightness, but the Trijcon were a "tinny" bit smaller,
yet a more SHARPER dot.
The Truglo were not as defined, but just as bright.

In daylight the Truglo was bigger, brighter, more defined.

I can't recall the price of the Trijcon (1.5 yrs ago)
Truglo was apx $125/ installed

IMHO . . .Both should be just a bit brighter in the dark.

Scout, I have many different types of aftermarket sights. Not on my 1911s, they all came from the factory with very good sights, I leave them alone.
But the one thing I cant stand is plastic sights, I'm a big Glock fan but hate their sights. I have put many different sights on my Glocks and a PPQ and a couple Caniks.
Without a doubt my favorits are the Wilson Combat Battle sights(Larry Vickers design), Trijicon HD's and 10-8. The one thing they all have in common are they have a U shaped rear sight.
Here is a pic of most of my Glock's all with aftermarket sights. None of the sights are bad, some are for carry others bedside, duty or range.
But for fast accurate shooting a wide U with an orange ball around the tirtium dot is perfect for me.

I think your going to have to call that group a FETISH ! arf arf
Have to take a look at the Wilson sights. Especially since I
grabbed a Colt 45acp Commander before they possibly vanish.
I just swapped out the ones on a G43 with truglo, which looks like
most of what you already have.
Haven't swapped on the Sig, Kimber, or Ruger, they're good to go.
Okay how many Glocks DO YOU HAVE?
