Congrats there, Colonel, that's a nice looking 1911, and with the reputation DW has in this area, I'm very much looking forward to your range report also.

I had no problems with 115gr or 124gr ammo. I didnít have any 147gr to try. I agree the fit, feel and finish are very nice. They donít photograph very well.

Congrats on your dan wesson, I'm loving my eco. Like jc says 115 and 124 run through them but I find im more accurate with thee 124 grn. I guess it's personal choice. The fit n finish along with the trigger really amazes me.

Went to the range yesterday fired off a little over 100 rounds of 124 lawmen ammo all went smooth as butter what a pleasure to shoot the gun is more accurate than I am all my groups were nice I can't say enough good things about the Dan Wesson I'm very pleased
