Paul, you should look on the Beretta Shotgun website. They have some that are over $100,000.

And if you can afford that gu, you probably won't have much trouble finding a 22y/o VS model to load it for you. Oh, snap, did I just say that...?!

Actually the gun is cheaper then the 22 year old model. After you pay the $7995.00 for the gun your only other expense is the ammo you buy for it. You may get the 22 year old for free but the annual upkeep will far exceed the cost of ten guns like that.

Over a cuppa coffee, a buddy was telling me of a pair of shotguns he sold to a gentleman whose name I won't mention here. The price tag was just over a quarter million. I exclaimed that although I really--really--like those guns, I prefer to limit my collection of guns to those I can shoot. My friend looked at me and said, those who have enough money to buy those types of guns, DO shoot their collections. It's all a matter of perspective. The 8k 1911 guy might think no more of sticking the Nighthawk in his waistband when he makes a midnight run to the 7-Eleven for a cherry slushie, than I do of throwing my Carbine or Broomhandle on the tailgate of my truck when I'm out in the desert.

Thinking about my collection of firearms... I'm not so sure that I made the right decisions.

Perhaps a few high-priced guns would be more rewarding than a safe full of what I have, most of which don't do much but hold down the safe.

I'm not surprised. Now I do not know any millionaire gun collectors, but I've seen guys buy knives by the metric ton.

For example, a sink hole once swallowed four Corvettes. They were all lovingly retrieved and restored. The restoration probably cost more than the cars.

Chastise me then. Just bought a Nighthawk Classic NHC model for 4,200.00 with the custom changes I wanted and could't be happier. It will be one of a kind pistol to be passed from father to son. Yes, I plan to shoot this pistol as often as I can.
