Ordered .460Rowland Kit

I had the donor Custom Two-Tone for awhile. Just ordered the 460 Compensated Kit in Stainless, added Extended Firing Pin with Spring kit.
Now I have to find some ammo!

Welcome to the club; shoots like a dream hits like a sledgehammer. You can order ammo from 460 Roland.com. Did you get the Clark custom or the Authentic 460 Roland?

MidwayUSA and Underwood Ammo are where I usually get mine.

Kid, I bought the Authentic 460 straight from the Rowland website.

Thanks Chuck, I will check those two places when I start shopping for ammo. I just want some range ammo, all I remember seeing on the Rowland site was hollow point stuff.

You're not really going to find range ammo for it like you can for the .45. Unless you reload or have a friend that can do it for you it's going to cost to shoot it. What's nice is that you can still shoot regular .45's with the conversion kit.

Oh OK! Good to know, I'll keep that in mind. I still need to run some rounds thru the Two-Tone but not a problem now cause I have a good amount of .45 on hand now.

With the 20/40 spring that they sent me with my kit, standard 45 ACP ejects rather weakly, almost dropping it out of the ejection port. You might try some 45+ P for practice.

Big and dangerous game ammo; 255 grain, 1300 ft./s, almost 1000 pounds of energy. That's almost 30% more powerful than 10 mm. And almost as powerful as 44 magnum. Yet it only feels like you're shooting 45+ P because of the compensator. It's really fun to shoot at a little more than a dollar per round.
Have a blast.

Be patient. They are a small shop and I don't think they stock those kits. It took about three weeks to get mine but they are very courteous when you call and they deliver a really top shelf product.

You may get lucky and get it sooner, I also bought my kit directly from John Rowland via his website. If I remember correctly it was shipped the next day and I had it within a week.
