Thumbs up I pulled the trigger...

I looked at online reviews and all looked good for the Ruger SR1911. So I pulled the trigger and this came two days ago.

Then I went here:

and then I pulled the trigger some more (10 yards)

The SR1911 is definitely a pleasure to shoot. These are the first few shots in its' new life since I adopted it. I own the flyers and take the blame for it. After I settled down I made a 2" hole in the middle of the red. I think it did well for the first time use.

Nice, I'm sure you'll provide a good home for the new Ruger :-)

I was pleased with it. Over 100 rounds and all I got was tired from loading mags. (even with a uplula) Not a single failure. I didn't even have to adjust the laser grips. (I feel the laser grips are just more tool in the toolbox if needed.) The sights were right on. It will be one of my defensive guns and with the way it performed it definitely will be a keeper.

Nice pick up there D-man . I have a Ruger SR1911 too. I picked mine up at a gun show last year. It came with an excellent trigger and is a real good shooter. I added some VZ black G-10 grips and a Wilson mag well. I think it made a nice addition to my 1911 collection, including Kimber (2), Colt, Sig and a Ruger.

I think you'll really enjoy it!
