Cannot find a holster for my P238.

I have Bianchi holsters for my Kimber and my SW J-frames, but I do not have a decent holster for my SIG Sauer. I figured "a simple phone call."

I like the "right kidney, black leather, thumb-break, canted Bianchi" with 1.75 inch loops for my biker belts.

I called all the sporting places, Bianchi, De Santis and a clearing house and no one stocks a molded item for a P238.

The one guy closest said, "I have one that might work."

Anyone here have success in locating such a holster for a smaller .380 ACP pistol?

You meant OWB, right? Considering your residence in that frozen wasteland, I'm guessing that's how everyone carries.

Thumb break? Is that REALLY a thing in 2019? I pistol in high-end leather isn't going to fall out. If you're open to that, Milt Sparks is grrrrrreat. Their 55BN for OWB is sweet. Right now I'm waiting for them to make me an IWB for a Sig P365. The holster is their VM2, of which I have a couple for assorted guns. I had one for the Solo, and the small gun in that holster was like peanut butter and chocolate. You might call Sparks and ask them to make a holster with a thumb break. I'm sure you wouldn't be the first.

It looks like Mitch Rosen makes a thumb break holster. That's who I'd call if Sparks won't make something for you.

Mornin Chico !

I carry my Micro 380 in a DM Bullard Leather Bodyguard Holster. Looking on their website, it looks like you can add the thumb break for an additional $25

This is by far the most comfortable holster I have and have one for my Micro 9 and 4" 1911

I have a couple of Winthrop Holsters and they’re pretty nice, especially for the money. I never tried this particular holster.

JC45, I just ordered the holster from Winthrop--it was exactly what I wanted, and made for the P238.

Good price, black leather for 65 bucks.

Thanks for the lead, next polishing is on me...

I have a magazine carrier that is designed for a 1911 single stack model. The magazines for the P238 are very slender and will not work in the carrier I have.

I know, I know, tossing a bare magazine into a jacket pocket is asking for lint contamination. But as I've said, I carry a second magazine not so much for the extra rounds, but as a hedge against having the feed lips bent on the magazine in the pistol.

I always carry a spare mag or 2 in my pocket and it has never been an issue.
