Time to light the grill

IMG_2310.JPG
My Boone Trading Company Faux Ivory grips just came in. They fit great and they look good; even have the Colt medallion. So I finally have my BBQ Gun. I know it won't win any prizes but I'll be happy with an honorable mention.
I could win a prize by default if some of you guys with those beautiful Kimber's don't show up.

I really should've sent this out to Chattanooga Phil for a professional photo shoot.

They look so good to me even though they're fake that I need somebody to talk me INTO spending $400 on the REAL mammoth ivory grips.

Ready? Go.

So you're not going to talk me into buying the real mammoth ivory ones? The only drawback I see on these is that they're very slippery and non-porous. So I'm wondering if the real mammoth bone would feel a little more tacky.
Plus I'd have the bragging rights to say that they're 10,000 years old.

Those poser Ivory grips on a Colt are very cute. The great thing about poser grips is that every time you pick up that Colt you'll be reminded. And you can trust your Forum pal Phil won't let you forget. Maybe one day you'll get the $20 aging upgrade?

The Umarex airsoft poser Colt rifle will be the perfect range companion. Maybe get a UTG hard case and stencil Pelican on the side.

Very nice.

How'd I do?

Now see there you guys.
That's what I'm talking about. A real friend will tell you the truth. I'll be ordering those 10,000-year-old grips next week.
Thanks Phil. I knew I could count on you.

I have I think two sets of Bone and one set of real Ivory and one 30 dollar set of fake ivory. If real and fake Ivory are side by side you CAN SEE the difference.

Buy them you only live once!

Not sure if you can tell from this pic: Fake Ivory are on the pistol, pretty nice colored Bone on envelope.
