MY newest Ruger

4 5/8" barrel, limited edition of only 1,000, stainless .44 S&W Special

I'm going to get some new grips for it, haven't decided what just yet.

Nice weapon! One thing about Ruger revolvers, they are built really strong.
Marshall likes this.

Are .44 specials as expensive as .44 mag?

Maybe a few pennies cheaper than mag, but not much. Shooting .45 ACP is half the price. I found with my .44 mag the first few shot were pretty good, then my shooting started getting worse.

44 sp isn't cheap. I was attracted to this because I didn't have a 44sp and it's in stainless.

Love your new .44spl Ruger, I have several pistols in .44spl but not like that.

I have a set inbound for the Model 10 Smith I just bought.
You might want to check this company out for grips, I have bought several grips from them, I think they have great looking grips at fair prices and they are made in U.S.A.
Marshall you may want to check this out to if you guys don't already know about them. Sorry I don't know how to do the link thing.

Altamont Company Handgun Grips

Both of these sets of grips came from Altamont, the Blacksilver are on my Stainless Bulldog .44spl and I put the Super Rosewood Checkered on my Charter Arms Police Undercover .38spl

I looked at Altamont, and also at the Ruger site. Altamont makes the rosewood grips for Ruger.

Yeah and the Blacksilver were $42.00 and the Rosewood $52 and I think shipping was $6.95.
